Birthday doldrums

Yesterday was my b-day! Today I'm sad and old.
Thanks to all who called and wrote, and those of you who didn't....well, you know who you are. And so...do...I. It was very uneventful except I talked to Max for about 2 hourssss. I think that's a record marathon phone conversation for both of us.

God, it seems like over a month since I wrote anything. Lots of things have happened. A dog found us - a choco lab. But he's too big for the apartment and the cats aren't really digging it. We call him Franklin. He may be going to a new home in the country today.

School's out for the summer!

Well, almost. I have one more week to go then a final on May the 1st. So far everything is looking good. I may actually pull off all A's this semester. But maybe 1 B. It depends on if I study hard enough for it or not. But I'm sure no one but myself really gives a flying fig!

Good Friday?

Now if I was the son of God and I ended up on two sticks with my hands and feet nailed to them, I doubt that I would have called it Good Friday. Maybe something like - "I'll just stay home Friday" or "Kinda bleak out there Friday" or even "Please don't kill me Friday". But sometimes you just can't reason with Pontius Pilate!! But what's done is done. Guess I'll wait to see what happens on Sunday!!!

Chrissy's 11th Birthday

Now, I don't really know when Chrissy's Birthday is but I do know it is in April - sometime after they crucified the son of God (although not the same year). I'm kinda guessing around the 22nd. The reason I don't know is that David, his mother and myself were in Athens, GA at the time she was born in a couch. I believe it was a Wednesday. Anywho, make sure to post a happy birthday greeting to her. It will really brighten up her day!!

Don't go back to school at 33!!

Rodger likes to laugh at me for going back to school!

Ok folks, now we all get that little niggle in the back of our minds saying "Go back to school - get a degree - make hundreds of thousands of dollars". However what it fails to mention is the complete absurdity and foolishness it takes to embark on a college career after the age of 30. A real pain in the ass if you ask me! Trying to work and go to school and raise 4 cats, well, it's nigh imposssible!
So to all you go getters out there, do what my therapist says - "Fuck It"!
